Visual Voice: How Color & Typography Define a Brand’s Tone
I had the opportunity to teach my first-ever design masterclass for a group of emerging creatives through The Alliance For Media Arts + Culture’s Arts2Work Multimedia Graphic Design Program. The session, titled Visual Voice: How Color & Typography Define a Brand’s Tone, explored how thoughtful design choices can shape the way a brand communicates before a single word is spoken. From color psychology to typography pairing to real client examples, we unpacked what it means to create a brand that feels aligned and consistent across every touchpoint.
This moment was truly special! It was a chance to share what I’ve learned, reflect on how far I’ve come as a self-taught designer, and hopefully leave others feeling more confident in their creative voice. You can watch the full session below!
